WASHINGTON SCHOOL AND APPRENTICE CANDIDATES

Candidates that attended a licensed Washington school or approved apprentice salon must obtain an application from their school or apprentice salon.

OUT OF STATE AND REINSTATE CANDIDATES

Out of State candidates & Reinstate candidates must have passsed both the NIC practical and written examinations in order to be eligible for licensure with the Washington State Department of Licensing. If you have not taken and passed both the NIC practical and written examination you will be required to take that examination.
